Este año con los MaxiRally aspirados, en donde Baratec con Gabriel Pozzo y Baldoni lideran el campeonato de equipos
, un Fiat muy inspirado por los resultados de Menzi y Confetti y un "Coyote" que parece haberle encontrado el punto justo a su Ford Fiesta, la fecha puede ser para cualquiera. Tres semanas después la actividad tendrá epicentro en Misiones (Julio 15-17), una fecha nueva para todos, de la cual no se tienen notas o datos, dándole al Rally de Apostoles una paridad única en el calendario 2011. Miguel inmediatamente partirá hacia Finlandia (Julio 28-31) para comenzar su actividad en una cita mítica considerada por fanáticos y pilotos como "La Capital Mundial del Rally" y obviamente de la velocidad. Grandes saltos y subidas ciegas, caminos anchos y traicioneros en donde el mas mínimo error te deja a la vera del camino y de los grandes arboles que rodean al mismo. En este contexto el Puntano no podrá especular, es escolta de Egon Kaur (Estonia) en el campeonato del mundo y deberá intentar otro podio si quiere mantenerse en esa lucha. Finlandia marcará un impasse en cuanto a la tierra como superficie ya que tres semana después en Europa Oriental, Alemania, sus viñedos y su particular asfalto darán inicio al bucle de dos fechas seguidas en este superficie que culminará con Francia a finales de Septiembre.
En números: casi 1000 Kms de pruebas especiales, mas de 2000 en enlaces y 30.000 Kms de viajes cruzando 2 veces el Atlántico esperan por un Miguel Baldoni que parece haber encontrado la madurez y motivación para poder afrontarlos.
